Concertos Vaivém - Toni

Born in Ponta Delgada, “Toni” is the alter ego of António Rebelo, a friendly name, simple and direct, like their music. “Década da Toca do Coelho” gathers songs written in the transition to adult life, reflecting the confrontation with the world and the attempt to understand it. With a DIY aesthetic and a collaborative recording process, the record crosses influences from Portuguese intervention song, MPB, and Anglophone alternative pop. Live, Toni performs on voice and guitar, accompanied by Leonor Cabrita (keyboards), Bá Álvares (electric bass), and Miguel de Miguel (electric guitar), all also on vocals and percussion.
