01 · What it is

An event of cultural and social action that sets out to teach gender equality to an audience mixed in age and background, working alongside public and private bodies both regional and national.

02 · The point of it

To bring the question of gender equality into the open, and with it the fight against prejudice and social stereotypes.

03 · Why film

IMPRÓPRIA screens a selection of short films on human rights, desire, queer aesthetics, gender-based violence, sexual identity and other questions around gender and diversity. Film is an effective way to raise and debate these subjects: it reaches people easily, and it opens a conversation once the screening ends.
