Supported by the Regional Directorate of Youth, through the Jovens + programme, the Marca Pistola – Concertos em Formação project, promoted by the cultural association Silêncio Sonoro, in partnership with the Rádio Vaivém project, Perkursos and Pdl26, brought together young people at risk of school dropout, with the aim of empowering them professionally, promoting equal opportunities and their entry into the job market.
Through this visual initiative, the goal was not only to address the shortage of qualified human resources in the area of local cultural production, but also to create opportunities for personal and professional development, promoting autonomy, active participation and the inclusion of young people in the community.
One of the most significant results of this process is precisely the creation of full audiovisual records of the experiences and performances carried out throughout the project. This content reflects the work developed by the participants and allows the journey undertaken during the training to be preserved and shared over time.
The records feature the direct contribution of various stakeholders, from the trainees themselves to the trainers, allowing each person to leave their personal and artistic mark on the different performances. In this way, the content produced is not just a documentary record of the activities, but also the concrete result of the learning and participation of the young people.
Making these videos available through the digital channels of Rádio Vaivém will ensure that the work developed remains accessible even after the formal end of the project, extending its impact and giving visibility to the skills acquired by the participants.
This audiovisual legacy thus represents an important dimension of the project: what was learned, experimented with and built together is recorded, allowing the young people's experience to endure over time and continue to reach new audiences, while simultaneously valuing their work and the regional cultural sector.
