MA Ç ARICO

MA Ç ARICO is a trans artist born in 2001 and resident on the island of São Miguel for over a decade. During the Vaivém Residency, MA Ç ARICO consolidates a new project, a follow-up to their electronic album released a year ago, but with a lighter and more comedic approach - a mixtape in the lines of Portuguese hip-hop. MA Ç ARICO seeks to address the socio-economic problems of the island of São Miguel almost as an automatism or intrusive thought. Represented by the record label Marca Pistola since 2020, they have already released six projects, including the albums Parvo, FYR, Cantigas Tuga and Roda dos Anjos.
