Silly Lily

Lily Emilina Snider is a composer and independent artist who shares music under the name Silly Lily. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she started writing songs, singing and playing instruments as a child. Her musical influences began with the folk-rock of the 70s, which she got used to hearing while growing up, and the sad sounds of 90s alternative. She currently resides in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel, in the Açores – the home of her mother’s family of origin. Her first singles, Berries and It Could Be The Best Part (Roomba Song), were recorded and produced in Los Angeles, as was the cover/mashup of Sugar Mountain (Goddamn), an ode to Neil Young’s children’s ballad. She feels honoured to frequently collaborate with her siblings, who were essential to her musical formation.
