Gróa & Flaaryr

FLAARYR; is the solo project of Diego Manatrizio, experimental composer, performer, improvisation guitarist. He currently lives in Reykjavík, Iceland. Flaaryr’s music is marked by rhythmic experiments, adorned with loops applied live, and above all a timbral exploration of textures and possibilities on acoustic, electronic instruments, everyday objects, sonic overlays that can swing from noise to beauty. GRÓA; Since they exploded onto the punk scene, GRÓA have delighted listeners with their free and chaotic sound. The Reykjavík band blends post‑punk, noise rock and art‑pop with fluidity to reach a magnificent sound explosion. Sometimes it recalls the sonority of the Sugarcubes “one of Bjork’s bands”.
